வேம்பு

அப்பா, அப்பா, இந்த வேம்பினை ஒருபோதும் வெட்டிவிடாதீர்கள்;

வேம்பு குருவிகளின் தங்குமிடம்.

அப்பா,அப்பா, உங்கள் மகள்களை ஒருபோதும் திட்டிவிடாதீர்கள்;

மகள்கள் குருவிகளைப் போன்றவர்கள்.

குருவிகள் பறந்துவிட்டால்

வேம்பு துயரம் கொள்ளும்.

 Father, never cut this neem;

The neem is a shelter for sparrows.

Father, never scold your daughters;

Daughters are like sparrows.

If the sparrows fly away

The neem will be sad.
